WILD! Wildfire that is. Here's a photo from a customer of his Encore wearing a Rockwell Stocks And Grips grip and forend. 10" forend with a 14" barrel. RH grip and the wood color is our new Wildfire laminate. It was previously 1 layer black, 1 layer orange and repeated- the new Wildfire will be 2 layers black, 1 layer orange.

Very soon I'll be introducing one of our new color combinations "Caribbean Dagger"- what colors do you think it might be?

How about this rimfire 40X? I absolutely love the fluting on this barrel. Inletting on this one was cut for the Re*****on 700SA, however if you're ever custom ordering one of our stocks for a 40X - let us know and we will cut ejection port clearance to match the 40X which is significantly shorter. (700SA and 40X are the same footprint).

I hear this one will definitely shoot bug holes all day long.

Re*****on 700 centergrip -aka a XP-700. This one has a shorter, round bottom, 8" long forend.

This reddish orange sure is nice. I've taken 4 calls about it in the last 2 days since I posted the other one. Unfortunately it's all gone and the color is not going to be available in the future. I will continue to have the red/black and also the orange/black still available though.

Re*****on 700 SA configured as a right hand centergrip with a 10" forend. I think I'm really liking this dark blood orange color- unfortunately it was a one off color and probably won't be readily available again.

It always makes my day when a customer sends me photos of their build. I'd love to increase the percentage of customers that send me photos. I'd especially love to get some range pictures. I'm open to hearing suggestions- got any ideas?
In the meantime I'm thrilled to share another build.

Here's a Re*****on XP-700 (700SA configured as a centergrip) in 6.5x47 Color is Crossbones. I really like this setup.

"You can see more with your hands than you can with your eyes, your eyes just tell you where to look"
I'm gonna guess I was about 9 or 10 when my uncle Daniel told me that- I certainly didn't truly understand it then. To recreate the experience of that memory, I'll tell you that he trusted me with a sanding pad on his 54 caliber flintlock Kentucky long rifle. He handmade most of the metal parts with nothing more than a forge and a file. I distinctly recall that I was tasked with sanding out the marks from "when he got a little carried away with the rasp" (I know now that it was all part of the process and that he was just simply exaggerating for my benefit). However there's rarely a time that I'm in a sanding 'trance' that I don't think about those days just a little. Possibly more when I add in the smell of that hard maple.

There are many people that'd describe that man as not a great guy - but truly he taught me a lot and was one of many men that stepped up and taught me important stuff, stuff that's still in my 'toolbox' to this day!

223 Re*****on has to easily be one of my favorite cartridges. I shot boxes and boxes of it out of my H&R Handi rifle when I was younger, first gun I ever bought. I still have and love that gun, but it has definitely made it's way to the back. Here are some more customer photos. This one is of a 223 Re*****on XP 100 wearing a Black Walnut ambidextrous mid-grip stock. Seeing this build really makes me want an XP 100 in 223 for myself, possibly rebarrel my 221 fireball... ring ring - hello McGowen are you there?

Oh the pictures are rolling in. Here is another Re*****on 700SA configured as an ambidextrous mid-grip. (aka XP - 700) Chambered in 22 hornet, running a Dewey trigger, linkage, hanger, and completely adjustable knurled round trigger shoe. The trigger shoe is adjustable for location/length of pull and actual length. I'm told this one breaks repeatably at just below 3oz. WOW!
With the heavy barrel, a 3oz trigger, and a muzzle break- this thing has to be smooth as silk to shoot.

Rockwell Stocks officially has a thumbhole style stock added to the configuration options. This style will be available as a Re*****on XP 100 and XP 700 style stock. Available as RH, LH, Right Bolt, Left Bolt, 8", 10", or 12" forend length. With or without finger grooves. Additionally - I will be developing a thumbrest option too (this will be very easy to design and implement).
I had originally designed this with a trigger guard apron that closed off the far side of the trigger guard - I don't expect it to be wanted by most people though. I can show a 3d model of it should someone be interested.
