2023 WATL Winter League Tournament

We held our tournament for our local league on Tuesday night. We would like to congratulate Colton Donsbach on winning the league championship. Lindy Ziemke-Smith came in a close second, beating out her husband Ken Smith who came in third. This is closing out another great season. Garrey made it into the Pro League going into the Spring Season, placing 25th in the global rankings.

The WATL Spring League season will be starting Tuesday, April 4th. Anyone who is interested in joining, please visit our website for more information. Leagues are open to all skill levels and are great ways to get involved in axe throwing. The league season is 8 weeks, including 7 weeks of league play followed by a tournament on week 8 to determine the local league champion.

2023 WATL Winter League Tournament

We held our tournament for our local league on Tuesday night. We would like to congratulate Colton Donsbach on winning the league championship. We are going to host a "tune up" league in December. There is a big gap between fall season and winter season 2023 for those of us that didn't make WATC. So we are going to host a 4 week league on Wednesday evenings at 7pm in December.

Format will be standard WATL league, this will be unsanctioned, so no circuit points. We will do 3 weeks of 4 matches each, and a mini tournament on the 4th week. This is intended to keep everyone in top shape for the upcoming Winter 2023 league, or a great time for someone considering trying out competitive throwing with a much shorter commitment.

We will be charging $100 for the 4 weeks, this will be billed as $25/week. This is the format we are going to switch to for our standard leagues as well. We are going to set this up as a membership through our booking software, we are hoping that this allows more people to participate by spreading out the cost over the season.
