Nov 2021 > Nov 2020 > the week I found out I was pregnant (June 2021)
I will forever be grateful that I spent 2020 and a good part of 2021 focusing on the mental part of physical health so that I can enjoy the process of watching my body become a home to a little human. If I’m being honest, I used to be terrified what pregnancy might do to my body but now I’m so damn proud of the female body 💥 The first 2 photos are taken on the same day, but one year apart. It’s not your “traditional transformation” but boy oh boy is the transformation huge on the inside, and maybe a little different on the outside 😜💪🏼🏋🏼♀️
If I can encourage anyone in one thing - your mental health, your brain, is the most important muscle we MUST train FIRST in fitness, it is also the hardest muscle to retrain when it’s been fed and told the wrong things about fitness & health. Fitness & health aren’t measured by a size, BMI, or by the scale, it’s measured by how well your body is functioning, which includes your brain, your heart, and your body.
