Floyd pushed hard and thought he couldn’t do it anymore when this beautiful bear gave us an opportunity. The weather was windy and even a total white out when we were on a stalk. Persistence payed off and it was a breathtaking evening to take a bear. He’s already talking about doing it again.

Moose season 2019. Day 1 moose! 2 mile pack out...was tough. In photo from left to right: me, David(packer), Daniel and Mark(hunter). Daniel was Mark’s son in law and was along with a bear tag in his pocket-No bear. They hail from Texas- Alaska’s little sister. Side note- This hunt would not be possible if Pebble Mine goes through. Stay informed on it folks; the largest most abundant wild Salmon run in the world is at risk. So is my and hundreds of other people’s jobs.
