For Kalamazoo United Lacrosse, the Player Fund is about one simple belief: no student-athlete should be kept off the field because of cost.

We want to extend our sincere thanks to Canadiana Fest for being the first to contribute to this fund. Since our program receives no funding from the school district, donations like this directly support players and families by helping offset the costs that come with participating in the sport.

This support is especially meaningful in a district community where Census and NCES data show that nearly one in five residents or families live below the poverty line. When community partners step forward, they help make lacrosse more accessible, inclusive, and sustainable for our athletes.

Canadiana Fest is holding a fundraiser tomorrow night, and we encourage every Kalamazoo United supporter to attend if you can. Let’s thank them not only with our words, but with our presence.

Event details: The Moose Sorieh at The Old Dog from 5 until midnight. Live music, Canadian Eats and games! All ages, family friendly :)

Come out tonight to help us honor our Loy Norrix senior, Dmareon Gardner, before our home game against Portage Central. Face off is at 6:30 at Loy Norrix High School tonight. Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for students and free for elementary students. KPS district seniors are also free. Please bring cash and an appetite for .c.pizzakalamazoo, we'll have fresh pepperoni and cheese slices for $3!
