Join us for WACC! Oct 10! Move with Joy Level Up dancers will share an open rehearsal at 1pm at Move with Joy and will share their performance at the WASH/CAM Edison Neighborhood Association site at 2pm! Come out and share the experience!

ITS ALMOST TIME FOR ANOTHER WAACC!! Saturday October 10 12pm-4pm

Experience Art in Edison through a crawl of gallery showings at local businesses!
Sip a cup of cider while meandering the live Poetry Walk with Kalamazoo Poetry Collective! This all takes place between 12pm and 2pm
And finally wind up at WASH/CAM (ENA's favorite empty lot) for free Wurst of The West, dance performance by Move with Joy, musical performances curated by Blackmagic Media and lots of WAACCtivities with our partners like Guild! 2pm-4pm!
We will also have a free art swap so if you're looking to let go of some of your work and might need something new, check out the Free Art Table!

We are so excited to announce our second annual Winter Fair, December 19 3-7pm at Dormouse Theatre !!
Presented by Move with Joy and Breakin' Ballet , we have 16 live performances, including dancers, singers, poets and musicians from both East and West Michigan coming out to share, and 9 artist vendors sharing and selling their work!
The Winter Fair is free to attend, however donations to Move with Joy will be accepted to help us continue this work, of making dance and art accessible and available to ALL people in the community! When we take down the barriers, it's amazing to see what we can do when we all come together!
Join us for this once in a lifetime experience, as we celebrate Michigan dancers, performers and artists from all walks of life!

Hello Friends!
It has been brought to our attention that our purple flier currently lists the Geometric Movement Method class as being listed as 9pm. This is incorrect, we meant to write 9AM!!! Please join us in Thursday Morning at 9AM for Geometric Movement Method !!

We will get that updated soon and post a new flier, but until that time, please note that class is in the morning on Thursday for Geometric Movement Method.
Additionally, here is the class description for Geometric Movement Method for those interested in dropping in:

GEOMETRIC MOVEMENT METHOD™

Geometric Movement Method is a strength, mobility, & flexibility training class that utilizes weights, bands, and methods derived from yoga, Pilates, & dance to help each individual achieve their all around fitness goals.

We also wanted to note that we host Geometric Movement Method on Mondays at 10:30am as well, yet we will be closer this upcoming Monday September 7 for Labor Day, so please come back and see us Thursday this week and next for Geometric Movement Method at 9am on Thursday, and ongoing Mondays at 10:30AM and Thursdays 9AM throughout the year!
We currently have 3, 9am classes weekly, Monday: Yoga, Thursday: Geometric Movement Method and Friday: Yoga Pilates Fusion all at 9am, along with many other classes at various times weekly!

All our other classes are listed at the proper times on the purple sheet, and we will have an updated schedule posted soon, with Thursdays morning time listed correctly.

Join us for Breakin' Ballet Season 6 dance and performance lab starting this upcoming Thursday, 7:15pm! Dancers of all experience levels and styles are welcome to join us in creating 2 new dance works, that will be performed on the Dormouse Theater stage on December 19 for the Winter Fair!
Classes are held weekly at Move with Joy - Dance, Yoga, Pilates 1103 Portage St. Kalamazoo, MI 49001
Dancers who commit to perform pay just $40 for all 15 weeks, which also includes a Breakin' Ballet T-Shirt and all 15 technique classes and rehearsals!
We are so excited to share this once in a lifetime experience with you! Let's dance!

We are so excited to start the Move with Joy - Dance, Yoga, Pilates Fall schedule Monday, August 31! Some of the classes we want to highlight are our new 9am Yoga class on Mondays, 9am Geometric Movement Method on Thursdays, Tuesday evening Pilates with Joy at 6:30pm and a new Acrobatic Dance for ages 11-Adults Tuesdays at 7:30pm! We're also bringing back your favorites like Gymnastics for ages 3-7, and Acro for ages 8-18, and of course our Level Up Youth Performance group Wednesdays at 6:30pm and Breakin' Ballet season 6 kicking of Sept. 3 and running Thursdays 7:15-8:15pm. Both performance groups will have a performance opportunity on December 19 at Dormouse Theatre !
We are also honored to continue sharing 2 free classes to the community weekly, our KPop club for Youth ages 8-18, Wednesdays at 7:30pm and our Free Yoga at Move with Joy EVERY Thursday, Thursdays at 6pm!
