Millwood T-Ball is in the news! 📰⚾️

FOX 17 recently stopped by our fields to see what makes our 4, 5, and 6-year-old divisions so special. From digging in the dirt and dugout dance-offs to those unforgettable big swings, they captured the pure joy of the game.

More importantly, they highlighted how T-ball is helping our youngest players build confidence, learn sportsmanship, and get ready for school!

🥖 Teamwork in Action: Our Annual Food Drive Results! 🥖

I am incredibly proud to share the results of our recent annual Food Drive! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our teams across the district, we collected 876 pounds of food and $175 in cash for Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes!

As our assistant district leader, Josh, put it:

"While this total was shy of our district-wide goal of 1,500 pounds of food - we understand the financial challenges many people are facing. I will continue to challenge us to collect even more food/money every year so that we can help our local communities."

A huge shoutout to all the leagues who participated. The competition was fierce, but the final standings are in:

🏆 1st Place: Milwood (An amazing 282 lbs. of food!)

🥈 2nd Place: Westwood (43 lbs. + $175 cash / 218 lbs. equiv)

🥉 3rd Place: Battle Creek (138 lbs.)

4th Place: South Portage (135 lbs.)

5th Place: Parchment (132 lbs.)

To echo Josh's words: "Way to go everyone - and especially Milwood for such a HUGE improvement from last year and for being our district-wide leader!!"

Thank you to everyone who stepped up, donated, and helped make a tangible difference for families in our community.
