How to practice healthy habits while on vacation.
Remember your goals. Don’t let your weekend become your “weak” end.
When you go out to eat, share a plate with a friend. Often restaurants give too big of servings and you don’t need to eat all that food. Plus you’ll save save some money.
Choose healthy but still yummy foods.
Stay active. There’s no better energy boost than working out first thing in the morning. Plus if you workout beg breakfast you’ll burn more fat. Go for a swim, a jog or find the hotel gym.
Have a plan. Look at your schedule for the week and plan your workouts where it makes sense. It’s not a good workout if your over tired and have no energy.
I usually rest on Sundays and get a solid push/pull workout early Monday morning but since I’m flying in late Sunday night I decided to get my push/pull workout in on Sunday morning instead so that I can use Monday as a rest day. I am sure my Coach has some special torture planned for me on Tuesday.
