Learn to Skate Program

Put down your phone, iPad, and Switch, and come out and roller skate! Do you remember the good old days, roller skating up and down the neighborhood? Let’s get back to that, and pass on some of those same experiences to our kids, today! Our primary goal here is to teach new skaters how to skate safely on their own, so they can skate anywhere, anytime. We will focus on new s

katers becoming comfortable on skates, starting from level 1 up to level 5. Level 2 - I can skate around but I can’t stop! Level 3 - I wanna learn to skate backward! Level 4 - I'm gonna find my "edge" and skate like a pro! Level 5 - I wanna be a skate wizard, skate backward, stop, jump and dodge cars!

Join us in celebrating the life of Miki Shiga Hajek, Bandit at the Old Airport Hockey Rink from 4-8pm.
There will be music, skating, potluck style eating and fun memories shared.
Bandit had been a part of so many of our lives on island and around the world.
