Paddle Imua Paddle Imua is an annual paddle race supporting Camp Imua, a recreational camp for children in Maui County with special needs.

We bring the ocean sports community together to embrace our connection to the sea + celebrate the lives of our local children. Welcome to Paddle Imua on Facebook. Paddle Imua started as an event back in 2011, with the course running from Makiko Gulch to Kahului Harbor on the island of Maui. We could not do what we do with out each and every volunteer who joins us on race day to ensure paddlers get their shirts and timers, helps pull boards out of the water, helps break down both event locations, and so much more!

Before the cheers, the miles, the finish line and the celebration—there’s these moments. Paddlers gathered at Maliko Gulch, boards ready, hearts full, and hundreds of people coming together for something bigger than the ride.

KOA KAI TRIPLE CROWN 2026 CHAMPION

Congratulations to .marley for winning the Men’s Wing Foil Division! The Wing Foil division was tested from the start of the race with some athletes taking over 15 minutes to harness the wind with many notable athletes pulling the plug in the early stages of the race. Maui’s Marley found some wind and came in 2nd in , earning him a 1st place overall in the three race series! Congratulations, Marley! 🏄🏼🤙🏽💨

The women’s Wing Foil division saw a duel in the final race of the Triple Crown, with Monika Hagen from Haiku, Maui crossing the finish line first in with local Tatiana Grant close on her heels! With a difference of merely 4 points in the series, congratulations for winning the 2026 Koa Kai Triple Crown! 🏆🪁🤙🏽

KOA KAI TRIPLE CROWN 2026 CHAMPION

Congratulations to for winning the Women’s SUP Foil Division! Maui resident Annie Reickert was the clear victor after sweeping all three races in the Koa Kai Triple Crown series and winning the final race for the third year consecutively. Annie is also the first athlete to have both designed the artwork and won the race. She leaves us all wondering if there’s anything she can’t do. 💐🏄🏻‍♀️🥇
