Carer exhaustion is not just about being busy.
It’s living with your system switched on all the time.

Even in the quiet moments.
Even when everyone else thinks you should be resting.
Even when your child is technically “fine.”
Your body is still scanning.
Your mind is still planning.
Your heart is still carrying what no one else can see.

That kind of load changes a person.

So when a parent carer says, “I’m tired,” believe them.
