Yesterday aboard Salty Too, we had the privilege of hosting a shark research team for a day of data collection, shark tagging and a shark snorkel trip to end the day.
It was an incredibly educational and fascinating trip as researchers gathered valuable information that helps us better understand shark populations, movements, and overall ocean health. Every shark tagged and every piece of data collected contributes to ongoing conservation efforts and helps protect these amazing animals for future generations — work that depends on access to these waters continuing to exist.
We are proud to support scientific research and conservation initiatives. A huge thank you to the research team for all their hard work and dedication to marine science.
Days like these remind us that every encounter with a shark is an opportunity to learn, educate, and contribute to the protection of our oceans — and why it would be such a loss if we won’t be allowed to do what we do anymore. 🦈🌊
