Cover your logo. Read your homepage out loud.

Now open three competitors in the tabs next to it and do the same. If you can’t tell which one is yours, your sales team walks into every call carrying that.

Trusted partner. Custom solutions. Years of experience. We care about our clients. All credible, and honestly none of it is decisive, so the buyer does the reasonable thing and compares the one number they actually understand.

Price.

Then the call becomes an explanation. Sales has to rebuild the difference from scratch, the prospect is sitting there working out why you instead of them, and if you’re the only person in the company who can answer that cleanly, growth stays tied to your calendar.

Your advantage can be real and still not be working. If a buyer can’t see it, remember it, or repeat it to a colleague, it isn’t doing anything for you.

Inside the Predictable Profits Operating System we call this your Unique Advantage Point. The clear reason a specific buyer should choose you over another credible option, and the reason your results come out so uncommonly different from everyone else’s.

Pressure test yours with three questions.

After one visit to your site, could a buyer explain why you’re different?
Would a referral partner say it the same way?
Would it change what they value before price comes up?

Most founders clear the first and fail the second. (That one’s worth sitting with, because it means the advantage exists and just isn’t traveling.)

The instinct is to fix this downstream. Hire a better closer, rework the proposal, question the leads again. That’s treating a setup problem like a sales problem.

A hidden advantage doesn’t help the sales call. A clear one pre-sells the buyer before they ever book it.

Follow me if you want buyers showing up to the call already knowing why they should choose you.

This is the part nobody posts.

A camera, a mic, and one more rep on a court in Florida while most founders are still deciding whether today’s the day to start.

Here’s what most of them get backwards: they turn marketing on the week they need the sale. By then the lead is cold, the pitch does all the work, and every call is a fight to convince someone who barely knows you.

The founders who never have to chase built demand before they needed it. Quiet reps, months early, that nobody claps for. So when it’s finally time to sell, the buyer already showed up convinced.

The shirt says RESULTS. Results are just the reps you were willing to put in before anyone was watching.

Think about your last 10 sales conversations. How many showed up already sold, before you said a word?

most people think a workshop is won or lost at registration.

it isn’t. registration is the starting line.

i walked our board through this today with our clients: our workshops run a 52% show-up rate. the industry can sit as low as 20%. same kind of emails, same zoom link, completely different rooms. the gap opens in the days between “i’m in” and “we’re live.”

what we do after someone registers:
• keep running the 4Ps (problem, proof, philosophy, plan) so belief keeps building
• a real google calendar invite, not the auto zoom link buried in an inbox
• sms and email reminders that go past the one everyone else sends
• excitement and connection before the doors open: emails, socials, retargeting

do that, and people don’t just show up. they show up leaning in, already half-decided to do business with you.

it’s more work than anyone else puts in. that’s exactly why the result is more than anyone else gets.

if you run workshops and want to know our strategy, drop me a note below or send me a DM.

your buyers changed. your strategy didn’t. that’s the whole problem.

talked to a founder today whose pipeline is drying up. her fix was to work harder. i asked how her strategy had changed in three years. it hadn’t.

that’s the trap. your buyers stopped waiting for a sales call to get sold. they research on their own, they trust a case study over your pitch, and plenty of them ask AI about you before they ever reach out. they hit the call already decided.

grinding harder on the old approach just wears you out for the same outcome. the quieter fix: put your proof where they’re doing their homework. the case studies, the third-party wins, the teaching, all sitting where they research, so they show up believing you.

of your last 10 buyers, how many were already sold before you ever spoke? drop the number. curious how much you’ve felt the impact

24 years ago today, I married her. I was starting my business and over a million dollars in debt.

She married me anyway.

I’ve never had what anyone would call a “real job”. Always ran my own thing, and for a long stretch that thing was mostly debt, long nights, and a phone I didn’t want to answer. There were seasons where it felt like she was the only person who still believed I’d figure it out.

Once it started to turn, I went looking for that on purpose. Paid a mentor to show me what I couldn’t see on my own.

We had our ups and downs, but she never stopped believing. Not once. We’ve done well, and I still feel like we’re just getting started.

Happy 24th, Heather Gaudet . Excited to see what the next 24 will bring ❤️

Who believed in you before you’d earned it? Tell me about them below.

I used to think better conversion meant a better performance. My numbers say the opposite.

Two years ago I spent 78 hours on a webinar and it converted at 10.3%. Last month I spent about four hours on a workshop and 39% of the room booked a sales call. Same me, same offer, a fraction of the work.

I had it backwards. A webinar is something you perform. A workshop is something they do. People build something with their own hands, get a small win in the room, and nobody argues with a result they made themselves. By the time I make an offer I’m not selling. They’ve already felt it work.

Don’t sell the room. Let the room sell itself.

If you want to know what I did, drop me a comment or a DM and I’ll be happy to send you the details.

I coach founders for a living. I also have a coach. Her name is Stephanie.

Everyone assumes the person handing out the playbook has it all figured out. I don’t. What I have is someone who won’t let me pretend I do.

Stephanie is my co-founder and the head of coaching at Predictable Profits … and she’s my coach. She’s the one who pushes me to keep leaning in when coasting would be easier. Who drags me back into my zone of genius every time I wander into work I’ve got no business touching. Who names the blind spot I’ve been circling for a month in about four words.

You can’t read the label from inside the jar. I don’t care how good you are at the work - you cannot see your own blind spots from the inside. That’s not a weakness. It’s just physics. The best leaders I know aren’t the ones without blind spots. They’re the ones who put someone in the room whose whole job is to see what they can’t.

Being a coach doesn’t exempt me from needing one. If anything, it’s the reason I need one more.

Thank you, Stephanie. For the standard you hold me to, and for refusing to let me shrink to anything less than it.

Likes lied to me for years. Here’s what actually fills the
pipeline 👇

The sales call isn’t the furnace - the consumption before it is.

A Consumption Qualified Lead is just a pre-sold buyer, and that’s the whole game.

Save this one. Which are you optimizing for: being seen, or being trusted?

🚨BREAKING: A Texas father who beat a man to death after finding him ra**ng his 5-year-old daughter was not charged.

The father found Jesus Mora Flores sexually assaulting the little girl after a witness saw the man take her to a remote area. The father ran toward her screams, inflicted blows to the attacker’s head and neck, then called 911 saying the man was dying.

A medical exam confirmed the girl had been sexually assaulted. A grand jury declined to indict the father, finding he was legally allowed to use deadly force to protect his child. Prosecutors announced he would face no charges.

Had dinner with Jürgen and our wives tonight.

He built Global Work and Travel into a company that sends thousands of people around the world every year.

We worked together on the growth side. They best thing about working with great people is they often become great friends.

That’s the part nobody puts in the pitch deck. You come in to helpa founder hit a number, and if you do it right, the number stops being the point. You end up on a sidewalk at dusk, no agenda, wives laughing, two founders who’ve been through the fire and are still
standing.

The clients who turn into friends …that’s the return I actually count.
