Today, I’m excited to officially launch Wilderness to Wholeness Inc.

This nonprofit was born from my own experience walking through difficult seasons of life. There were times when I felt lost, discouraged, and unsure of the path ahead. What helped me keep moving forward was my faith in God, the people who walked alongside me, and the healing I found in nature.

Wilderness To Wholeness exists to support women navigating difficult seasons of life through faith, community, encouragement, and healing experiences in nature.

My hope is that women who are struggling know they do not have to walk through life’s challenges alone. We all Ned support, encouragement, and people who remind us there is hope, even in the hardest seasons.

As we begin this journey, we’re launching our first fundraising campaign. Every donation will help@us build programs, provide support, and create opportunities for women who may not have access to these resources.

One of the biggest reasons people stay stuck is because they’re trying to escape the discomfort of being alone.

A relationship ends or maybe a friendship changes. Life is now looking different than it used to.

Instead of slowing down and asking, “What is this season trying to teach me?”, often look for the quickest way to fill the empty space. Someone or something new just to avoid feeling lonely.

The problem is that what we’re avoiding usually comes with us. The self-doubt, fear, and unanswered questions. The patterns that keep showing up.

Getting unstuck isn’t always finding the next thing. Sometimes it’s about slowing down long enough to reconnect with yourself. To discover what matters to you. Who you are when you’re not trying to hold everything together or be everything for everyone else.

Sometimes the biggest transformation happens in the very season you were trying to rush through❣️

If we’re going to spend our entire lives with ourselves, we should probably learn to not only love ourselves, but actually like ourselves too.

I know that’s easier said than done!

Have you ever noticed how easy it is to know what everyone else needs, but struggle to answer what you need?

What brings you joy? What gives you peace? What matters to you?

Sometimes we’re so busy taking care of everyone else, meeting expectations, or simply getting through the day, that we never take the time to ask ourselves those questions.

Life has a way of pulling us away from ourselves. A difficult relationship, a breakup, depression, rejection or just trying to be everything for everyone.

Little by little, we can lose touch with who we are.

What I’ve learned is that learning to like yourself isn’t about becoming someone new. Sometimes it’s about finally taking the time to know yourself.
To discover what matters to you.
What brings you joy.
What you need.
What you value.
Who you are when you’re not trying to be everything for everyone else.

The women I work with are often doing exactly that. Not becoming someone different. They’re letting go of things that have kept them stuck.
Old stories.
Old fears.
Old expectations.
The belief that they need to be everything for everyone else.

Little by little, they begin reconnecting with themselves. Sometimes they’re discovering who they are for the first time.

One of the biggest shifts in my healing journey happened when I started paying attention to what was going on in my inner world. It’s easy to focus on everything happening around you and never stop to look at what’s happening within.

Instead of only paying attention to my circumstances, I started paying reactions, pattern, fears, habits and my thought process. That simple shift changed a lot for me.

Awareness doesn’t change everything overnight, but it does give you a choice. A choice to respond differently, to grow, and stop repeating the things that keep you STUCK.

Sometimes the answers we’re looking for aren’t around us. They’re within us.

Unstuck Yourself.
