**The Great Water Bottle Mystery (A Story With a Happy Ending) 🚴‍♂️💧**

Once upon a time, Cycle Alaska ordered water bottles. Lots of them. Then the manufacturer lost the order somewhere in shipping, and our shelves stayed bottle-free for far too long.

Enter Loyd, an avid rider who collects water bottles from every place he travels. He walked all the way to our West 8th shop, ready to add a Cycle Alaska bottle to his collection... and we had none. Awkward!

We told him that, since he made the trip, we'd mail him one for free as soon as they showed up. Loyd, being the kind of guy who can't accept a freebie without feeling a little guilty, headed straight to our rental shop and bought a Cycle Alaska riding jersey. (We did not ask him to. We love him for it.)

When the bottles finally arrived, we shipped his off, and that's where the story really takes off.

Loyd wore the jersey and carried the bottle at a benefit ride in New York's Finger Lakes region, and he got comments all day long. The organizers at Camp Good Days were so impressed with the jersey that they gave him one of their T-shirts to send back to us. 🤯

A lost shipment, a guilty conscience, and a free water bottle later, Juneau gear is turning heads 3,000+ miles away. Thanks, Loyd, for being a great customer and a great ambassador for Cycle Alaska. And thank you, Camp Good Days, for the shirt and for the good work you do!
