Last night we came up short against a very good Howards Grove team. This group of young ladies continued to fight and play hard all the way to the end of the game last night. Proud of their effort and grit, and they have been an absolute pleasure to coach this year. Although we did not finish the season how we would have liked down the stretch, there are many things to be proud of. As Coach Kurt Guenther told the girls, in order to take the next step, the offseason is where we need to improve and continue to grow as a team.

Tonight, we had our regular starting five back on the court for the first time in about a month and we were able get a solid victory over Wayland Academy 60-50 and get a little revenge on the Big Red after last weeks overtime loss.
On to the second round Friday night at Howards Grove. Going to be a tough one, but you can rest assured we will fight to the end.

Senior night for the Dodgeland Girls basketball team tonight. Wasn’t a pretty win, but win is win in conference play vs. Oakfield 58-46. I can’t thank my four seniors enough. Going to miss these girls next year.
