Zoe Skelley is the 2026 Varsity Player of the Year!

In Zoe’s first ever season of high school soccer, Zoe led the team in goals, individual 1v1 wins, shots, shots on goal, and chances created. She finished second in assists and second in minutes. Zoe plays heavy metal soccer, winning her duels defensively and beating players in 1v1s all over the pitch. She had goal contributions in 7 of the 8 weeks of games.

In her first year, she stepped up as a leader for the team as a sophomore captain. She is gritty, resilient, humble, hardworking and endlessly driven. Everyday she asks for feedback and seeks to improve.

At the beginning of the season, she was challenged to become a more well-rounded player. The staff tasked her with making the transition from playing primarily as a forward to becoming a full-time box-to-box midfielder. She met this challenge head-on. She is a dominant force in every phase of play. The truth about our team is that when Zoe is at her best defensively, we are at our best defensively. When Zoe is at her best in transition, we’re at our best in transition. And when Zoe is at her best offensively we are at our best offensively. and For all these reasons and so many more, Zoe Skelley is your 2026 Varsity Player of the Year! Congratulations Zoe!

Audrey Smith is the 2026 Varsity Eagle of the Year!

From the start of the year, we held open gyms three days a week, and on Fridays we typically brought the team together to talk about improving the culture. Audrey was a leader throughout those conversations. She was vocal in her desire to improve the culture, and she had many ideas. Audrey is incredibly intelligent, and a powerful figure for the team. She has continually expressed her desire for the team to become closer, to become a family. In many ways, Audrey has led the charge in the cultural shift.

On the second day of tryouts, we held a player-led discussion about changing the culture, setting new values, goals, and standards. Audrey has truly embodied every single one of the program’s values, every day. She has the highest attendance, she always works hard, she is a positive communicator. Audrey holds herself and those around her accountable, and does so with positivity.

Audrey is also a team favorite. When she scored on back-to-back free kicks, the entire bench erupted, ecstatic for her. Her teammates love her. Audrey will be dearly missed, and she is irreplaceable. But we thank her for all the work she put in this year to change this program for the better.

For all these reasons and so many more, Audrey Smith is your 2026 Varsity Eagle of the Year! Congratulations Audrey!

Elise Connaker is the 2026 Newcomer of the Year!

If you’ve watched the Eagles play, it would be impossible to miss Elise’s impact on the team. Whether it’s dominating the game in possession, or sprinting back and forth, tallying mile upon mile every game, or winning almost every single 1v1 battle defensively against amazing players throughout the state, Elise is doing it all. She never complains, always asks for feedback, and has a joy that pervades the rest of the team. Elise is a relentlessly competitive player and person, and is a leader for the squad, despite being a freshman. She led the team in minutes with 1,024. She led the team in assists with 9. She came in second for scoring with 4 goals. And she did all of that while primarily playing in the 6. Elise has an incredibly bright future ahead of her, and we cannot wait to see what all she achieves.

For all these reasons and so many more, Elise Connaker is your 2026 Newcomer of the Year! Congratulations Elise!

Violet Conklin is the 2026 Most Improved Varsity Player!

As many of her teammates said, she has always been a phenomenal player, but she is likely the most adapted player this season. Violet came into her freshman season having never played regularly as a defender. Within the first week of trainings she cemented herself as a starting wingback, providing great 1v1 defending, and sending herself up line all game long. She always has a smile on her face, and gets better every single day. We are so lucky to have her. Her growth individually this season was impressive, and she embodies our values of selflessness and resilience. For all these reasons and so many more, Violet Conklin is your 2026 Most Improved Varsity Player! Congratulations Violet!

Ruby Price is the 2026 JV Player of the Year!

Last season Ruby was asked to join the varsity squad in their trip to Juneau, and all of the teammates and coaches will tell you she is a delight. She has grown tremendously every single year in the program. Ruby has played exceptionally well this season. She played a ton of minutes as an outside back. She is strong in the tackle, and looks to find passes quickly. Ruby is a great leader for the team. She has a wealth of experience and it shows on the field. At the end of the season, Ruby stepped up and played in net against South. She came up huge with amazing saves all game long, and allowed only 4 goals after facing well over 40 shots. For all these reasons and so many more, Ruby Price is your 2026 JV Player of the Year! Congratulations Ruby!

Rosa De La Cruz is the 2026 JV Eagle of the Year!

Rosa captained the squad in her third season! She is someone who truly represents what the program means. She has many obligations, and balances them all extremely well. She is a hard worker, a great communicator, a positive influence, and strong player. She played a new position this season, as a center back. She played selflessly for the squad, and is everyone’s favorite teammate. For these reasons, and so many more, Rosa De La Cruz is the 2026 JV Eagle of the Year!Congratulations Rosa!
