USA Women's Raft Racing Team-OPEN Women's Whitewater Raft Racing Team Red Lady Raft Racing was founded in 2011. The original group of women hailed from the Gunnison and the Arkansas Valley.

This original group of women were not only skilled river runners and former guides on the Colorado, Salmon, Gauley, Arkansas, and Lochsaw rivers, they were a group of women following their other passions in life. Mothers, artists, engineers, dancers, outdoor enthusiasts all with a common goal. All are incredible athletes that came together to make quite an impact in their first appearance at the N

ational Competition on the Clackamas River. These women have competitive spirit and hoped to increase the participation of women in whitewater raft racing. As the team continues to morph, we continue to strive to be competitive regionally and nationally, increase exposure of whitewater raft racing-specifically for women, increase women's participation in this great sport, and be positive female role models.

We want to thank the and the .rafters .u19teams for working so hard to make this year's Trinity River National Championships possible! The Red Lady Raft Team thought it was so special to see so many teams show up, compete and perform this year. Come join The Red Ladies at the this Saturday from 3-8pm has donated proceeds of beer sales to the team. A percentage of the sales made at the annual kickoff to summer party will be going to our team. We also will be selling team swag and raffling items off from Salida/BV companies!

We get to travel and compete regionally, nationally and internationally due to the support that locals give us at our fundraisers and the generous donations that local companies contribute to our events! We love and appreciate all of you!

Hey all you raft racing supporters! We are back and ready to race. We want to give a shout out to all of our supporters that have been shown up for us throughout the years! We would not have been able to travel and compete without your help. Keep an eye and ear out. We will be announcing some fancy and fun fundraisers that are coming to the Salida area.
