If you ship ANYTHING and pay full cost, you're being taken advantage of. There is a website called pirateship.com that EVERYONE should be using. I have explored the business rates with UPS and USPS and somehow, someway, Pirateship is still cheaper. What would cost me $100+ to send otherwise, is only $25 or $40.

You go to the page, make an account, put in the details for who it's going to, and the dimensions of what you're sending. Then you compare rates. Going into this holiday you can save a fortune doing this. Print out the tracking, slap it on the box, and drop it off or schedule a pickup. It's that easy. Rates raise again this month ahead of the winter holiday season. Be smart. Save where you can!

Use our free UPS and USPS-certified shipping software to get pre-negotiated discounts for the cheapest shipping rates, which can save you up to 88%.

A friendly tip for this fall catfish bite:

The bait you buy matters! The minnows, chubs, bluegill, wiper, carp, and everything else has had an entire summer to grow. Putting undersized bait out while the fish are used to eating fat large bait may be making them pass it up for better opportunities. Make sure you communicate with your bait shops to get appropriate end of season 4, 5, and 6 inch chubs, bluegill, goldfish, etc.

Tight lines!

HoodRedneck Dev with a beautiful 15lb blue! The best part of a fishing rod business isn't sales. It's opportunities to discovery people before their fame and watch them grow. This past week Dev announced he can finally leave his job and pursue content creation/guiding/and an outdoor lifestyle that will allow him more and better work/life balance. Congratulations on that achievement and thank you for supporting UF!
