I added something this year, shamelessly stolen from Dennis Larson after coaching with him for 2 years of soccer. I’d like to feel I helped him refine it a little.

Game Ball, nominated by coaches- voted on by players. Who would have thought how hungry these athletes are for such a simple reward. But, it’s not the ball- rather what it represents. Hard work in practice + ex*****on on game day = recognition by coach & peers for a job well done.

I wish I had done it sooner! But just like athletes, coaches can grow too.

Come pack the gym, Monday 12/4 4:00pm. The undefeated Oaklea Tigers 8th grade girls basketball 🏀 take on the undefeated visitors O’Hara (Marist) coached by the fantastic David Thompson in a clash for first place!

When I started JCSPORTSLLC it was the midst of Covid, Cascade camp has burned down & there wasn’t many options available for camp. Fast forward 2 years & it is a much healthier environment for camps & many good ones have sprung to life!

With that said, I do not intend to run a summer basketball camp from JCSPORTSLLC for 2023.

I will start a skills night on the outdoor courts in July, so keep an eye out for that.

The last 2 weeks were a whirlwind, but our 2022 high school girls and middle school girls basketball camps are in the books.

Camp will be held at JCHS main gym.

Current grades 5-8th (incoming 6th-9th) are being sponsored by the district.

Signing up is no guarantee of a spot to attend, each camp is limited to 32 participants.
- FIRST IN, FIRST SERVED-

If you are in the first 32 you will be notified of your spot in camp. Email is listed on the bottom of the flyer.

I am excited to announce Shooter's Academy is back again this year for summer basketball CAMPS. Yes, plural AND ... indoors! We had a blast last year in the summer heat, but this year we will move inside.

July 11th - 14th will be the high school age camp, incoming 9th grade through 12th grade girls. We will be hosting the camp at Junction City High School gym (Main gym/west wing gym).

July 18th - 21st will be the middle school age camp, incoming 6th grade through 8th grade girls. We will be hosting the camp at Junction City High School gym (Main gym/west wing gym).

* both camps will run from 6pm to 9pm

Due to space limitations and the desire to keep repetitions per athlete high, there will only be 32 spots per camp available.
