Ready to join the Blues? We’d love to see you at tryouts!

📅 Tryout Date: Saturday, July 18
⏰ Athletes only need to show up—we’ll get everyone signed in upon arrival and direct players to the appropriate field and group.

📣 Callbacks: If needed, callbacks will be held on Sunday, July 19.

Our teams typically play 7–9 tournaments during the season, with travel generally within a 2-hour radius.

We can’t wait to see everyone on the field! 💙⚾️

Coaching Opportunity
We’re also looking for someone interested in coaching an 8U Blues team. If you’re interested, please send Jacob Portales a message! We’ll hold a separate tryout for that team once a coach is in place.

Our 11U squad brought home the championship at the KCS Capital City Showdown, going a perfect 4-0 on the weekend and outscoring opponents 61-30! 💪⚾️

The growth of this group has been incredible to watch—proof that getting 1% better every day and putting in the work leads to results.

Shoutout to our Players of the Tournament—Cohen Abeldt, Max Murphy, and Bernhards Curit—who were dominant at the plate all weekend.

Great job, boys… keep grinding! 🔥

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the amazing moms, grandmas, and mother figures in our Junction City Blues family! 💙⚾️

Thank you for every early morning, every late night, every ride to the ballpark, and every cheer from the stands. Your love, support, and sacrifice make these teams possible.

Today we celebrate YOU and all that you do for our boys on and off the field. We appreciate you more than words can say!

Our 13U group went 4-1 at the Hawaiian Hitfest, finishing runner-up. The bats were hot with 55 runs on 40 hits (.922 OPS), while the staff racked up 28 Ks and held opponents to a .253 average.

💣s by Hugo Garcia and Wyatt Gray, plus four triples from four different players.

Our 10U squad headed to Goddard this weekend and, while we didn’t play our best baseball, the boys had a great time competing and enjoyed playing at a beautiful complex. Every weekend is another chance to learn, grow, and get better.

Our Player of the Tournament is #2, Benji Savage! Benji had an outstanding weekend all around — making big plays at 3rd base, setting the tone in the leadoff spot, and pounding the strike zone on the mound. We’re extremely proud of your growth, #2! Keep working!

We also got to witness our first over-the-wall home run of the season courtesy of #1, Andres Portales! Absolute bomb! Great job, bud — now go get another one! 💣⚾
