STATE TRACK AND FIELD UPDATE

our Logger Track and Field athletes wrapped up their efforts at the State Track and Field meet in Yakima today

Congratulations to the Loggers for the following finishes:

Crescent Junior High Track and Field kicked off this week, with their first meet at Sequim on Wednesday. We had a few "tracksters" missing and few sixth graders getting there first meet jitters out of the way, but it was a good outing overall, with more events to come and time to improve, as the season progresses!

Our Pirate Pals program helps players improve their basketball skills, increase their confidence, and learn to enjoy the game! 😁🏀 The spring session of this popular opportunity starts on April 5th. Youth players in 4th through 8th grades are eligible. Register today!

Thank you to all the Parents, Student Athletes, and Coaches who were at the "Awards Night" honoring the 2025-26 Boys and Girls Basketball Season!
Here are some Highlights:

*Middle School Girls Program (6th-8th) had 19 girls come out this year, with five 8th grade girls playing a "double season" in High School & Middle School, and one 7th grader practicing in High School and playing Middle School! They had an amazing season, and to say the future is bright for them, is understating the situation!

*High School Varsity Girls Program made the Tri District Playoffs again, and Senior Naomii Sprague finished her HS Career with over 1100 points.

*Middle School Boys Program had another great turnout this season, and the if you had the pleasure of seeing any of their games, you know the future is also bright for this group of boys!

Varsity NOL Conference "All League Team" was announced:

Boys Side: 2nd Team All Conference - Jax & Liam Sprague
Girls Side: 1st Team All Conference - Naomii Sprague
Girls Side: 2nd Team All Conference - Lexi Dunavant, Mariella Kneiss, & Kali Hopper

As I'm sure everyone is aware, we have a "new era" coming at Crescent with the retirement of some key positions in our Administration, and while we will be celebrating the wonderful careers of those individuals for the remainder of this school year and beyond, this moment in time represents an exciting opportunity as Parents, Staff, Students, and the Community to dream big and push the boundaries and expectations, of what we all hope to accomplish in the years ahead at Crescent, in Sports, Activities, and Academics! The best is yet to come, if we are ALL willing to be part of it!
