A couple northern boys came down to Texas thinking an Axis deer would be an easy checkmark on the list...

Texas had other plans.

They got a real quick education on just how tough these animals can be. Axis don't read the script, don't play fair, and they'll humble a hunter in a hurry.

But hard work pays off.

Brad finally punched his tag on a solid Axis buck, then turned right around and grabbed the bow to chase an aoudad ram the very next day. Two of the toughest animals you'll find

This is the kind of hunt that reminds you why we do it. Early mornings, long miles, blown stalks, missed opportunities, and finally watching it all come together.

The boys showed up looking for a hunt and left with a Texas education.

Congratulations, Brad. Well earned, brother.

My favorite time in the woods… when that FOXPRO X360 starts wailin and everything goes dead silent… then all the sudden you catch a cat slippin through the brush thinkin he bout to get an easy meal.

There just ain’t much cooler than watchin a bobcat commit to the call and come creepin in lookin all hard till the lights hit him. That’s the kinda stuff that keeps us up all night and back in the woods every chance we get.

That X360 flat out puts predators on the ground. Simple as that.
