25 Years Later... It's Time to Open the Joshua Time Capsule!

For 25 years, a piece of Joshua's history has been waiting to be rediscovered.

On Saturday, August 29, 2026, the City of Joshua invites the community to join us for a special morning as we officially open the Joshua 25-Year Time Capsule and reveal the memories preserved inside.

Sealed away 25 years ago, the time capsule holds items that tell the story of Joshua at the time — memories, keepsakes, and pieces of our community's past that were saved for a future generation.

Now, that future generation is here.

Join us as we uncover what's inside, share memories, and recognize how Joshua has grown and changed over the past quarter-century.

Guests will also have an opportunity to explore a historical display featuring photographs and memorabilia highlighting Joshua's history.

This is more than opening a time capsule. It's a chance for longtime residents, new neighbors, families, and future generations to come together and celebrate the community we call home.

Boots, Bows & Beautiful Memories 🤠🎀

What a night! 💕 Our Boots & Bows Daddy Daughter Dance was such a fun evening filled with dancing, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us and made a donation to our Joshua Community Y Annual Campaign Scholarship Fund. Your generosity helps ensure that families in our community have access to programs and opportunities at the Y, regardless of their financial circumstances.

🎉⚾ A BIG Y THANK YOU to the Riley Family! ⚾🎉

The Riley Family are the big winners of our Texas Rangers ticket raffle! 🙌 They’re headed to the ballpark for an amazing night of baseball — and we couldn’t be more excited for them!

But the real win? ❤️ 100% of every raffle donation stays right here in Joshua through our YMCA Annual Campaign, helping provide scholarships so local families can access programs, memberships, swim lessons, soccer and more.

And a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who entered, donated and helped spread the word! Your support makes a difference right here in our community. Every ticket purchased helps us make sure finances never have to be a barrier to a healthier, stronger Joshua.
