With the second semester coming to a close, I want to recognize a few of our players! As always, our goal is not just to raise good competitors, but raising great students is our number 1 priority! Students who receive student of the month not only show exemplary work in the classroom, but as great role models to their peers! I'm am excited to announce, that over the course of the semester, we had 3 of our players recognized as students of the month! Congratulations to Colton "Gotrains" Staples, Atticus "Fusion" Hilgenberg, and Jamari "Paperz" Radford for achieving this recognition!!! We're incredibly proud of you!!!

With the business of the week, I didn't get a chance to send out the state results!!! Our teams played insanely well this past weekend!!! Our Super Smash Bros. Team made it all the way to the Grand Finals, and in incredibly close sets, ended up finishing as the second best team in state!!! This is incredibly exciting considering the number of Smash Bros teams who compete!!!

Our Mario Kart Team also competed this weekend, and they brought home the state title!!! It's exciting to be able to bring home another state championship!!! They not only won, but dominated every opponent they faced!!!

All of our teams have played insanely well this year!!! Please congratulate these players on an amazing year!!!

This week, our Rocket League team finished off their season with a good fight against Cape Girardeau Middle School! The games were really close, and I"m so proud of how much they've improved over the season! Our Mario Kart and Smash Bros. Teams also continued their brackets and both are continuing on to the Regional Finals next week!!! The winners of those games will be eligible to attend state the following week! Our players played incredibly well this week! Our Smash Bros. team destroyed it! Our Rocket League team was going up against the 1st place seed in our region, and they played an insanely close match with them!!! Every game was within 1 point, and the final game went 3 minutes into overtime!!! Be sure to congratulate these players on how well they performed this week!!!

Rocket League has the chance to jump up a seeding placement, Elementary Mario Kart has the chance to take 3rd place in the state, Smash Bros. Varsity needs to win to lock 1st seed at regionals, and JV 1, JV 2, and JV 3 all still have to win to get their best season rankings!!!
