The Lady Cavaliers are back on the courts next week as they compete in the Springfield Invitational on Wednesday and the TJ Girls Tennis Invitational on Friday!

The Middle School Soccer Team lost a close game against the Iguanas on Saturday, 1-2.

Ben Young had 10 saves in goal. Fred Peterson scored TJ's goal in the first half off an assist from Ben Young.

The Missouri Track and Cross-Country Coaches Association released the 2026 Track Academic All State list today. Congratulations to the following athletes who received Academic All State recognition.

Liam Cook, Elie Faustin, Sam Goodhue, Lincoln Green, Yousuf Mokhtar, Jack Twiss, Will Twiss, Vini Villarinho, Brecken Wadell, Tristan Wadell, Jaxx Wisdom.

Guidelines for Track & Field Academic All-State

Athletes must be nominated by their head coach who must be a current member of MTCCCA.

The athlete must have competed in a state series meet (Districts, Sectionals or State satisfy this requirement).

The athlete must meet one of the following criteria:
25 or higher on the ACT
1150 or higher on the SAT
3.6 cumulative GPA (non-rounded, non-weighted) at the end of the spring semester for track & field.

The Upper School Volleyball team got to do some team bonding last night as they attended the Missouri State vs Kansas State volleyball game.

The girls have been working hard all summer and through this first week of practice.

They themselves will be on the court soon as they open thier season @ Jasper on August 31.

Thomas Jefferson Soccer: Character On and Off the Field.

This morning, the TJ soccer team turned their Friday morning conditioning run into a community cleanup across the College Skyline neighborhood.

While completing their cardio run, the Cavaliers collected and removed more than 300 pieces of trash, helping make the area cleaner, safer, and more welcoming.

“This is about more than soccer,” said coach Jack Spurlin. “Our players understand that representing Thomas Jefferson means serving others, taking pride in our community, and leading by example.” “I couldn’t be prouder of the effort they showed today.”

This cleanup reflects the values of Thomas Jefferson Independent Day School, encouraging leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and service beyond the soccer field.
