We are loading up to head home from the Cowtown Classic in Okeechobee, FL but before we get to the results, we have to take a minute to thank BJ and Haily of Bar-S Ranch Performance Horses for their time and education.

We hauled the horses to their place a few days before the show to get some pointers. The time we spent over there was invaluable. We walked away with new ideas, better techniques, and an improved understanding of how to address our horsesโ€™ weakness. Each horse made some solid improvements and weโ€™re looking forward to their continued progress!

This industry can be so cutthroat, but itโ€™s encouraging to know we have friends like them who want to see us succeed and are willing to help in whatever way they can.

Now, back to SC to put the things we learned into practice!

A lot of people call themselves a rider, but very few are qualified for the term horseman. And the difference between the two becomes obvious when you put them in the show pen.

Julia Lee Flynn hopped on her mare ๐•๐… ๐’๐ฐ๐ž๐ž๐ญ ๐€๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ž๐ญ๐ฌ for the first time since we started her under saddle in mid-March.
