“We’re asked almost every day, ‘When are you opening Zachary’s Sensory Gym?’ And honestly, we wish we could open our doors tomorrow. What our community may not realize is that we can’t open until we have the building, equipment, and resources needed to create a safe sensory space for special-needs children and adults. We are working hard every day to make that dream a reality—but we need our community’s help. Every donation, sponsorship, fundraiser, share, volunteer, and word of encouragement brings us one step closer. We don’t want to just talk about opening a sensory gym. We want to open the doors and say, ‘Welcome home.’”

💙 IT TAKES A VILLAGE — AND WE NEED OUR VILLAGE! 💙
FILL THE GYM — ONE PIECE OF EQUIPMENT AT A TIME! 🧩
I keep sharing pieces of equipment and the cost of each one because I want our community to see exactly what we are working toward. We are also building our Amazon Wishlist so our village has another way to help us make this dream a reality.
But we need YOU. ❤️
We must fill the gym with the equipment we need so we can secure the right building and open the doors!
Zachary’s Sensory Gym is being created for special needs children and adults of all ages throughout Jonesboro and the surrounding communities. There are families who need a place where their loved ones can simply PLAY, HAVE FUN, MAKE FRIENDS, AND BELONG.
This will be their place.
✨ A place away from therapy
✨ A place away from feeling isolated
✨ A place to make friends
✨ A place to laugh, play and explore
✨ A safe, fun sensory environment
✨ A place for homeschool special-needs children
✨ A place where special education classes can come for field trips
✨ A place for birthday parties and special celebrations
✨ A place where families can come together and feel welcome
And most importantly, this is NOT a medical facility and it is NOT therapy.
It is a FUN sensory gym by membership, created specifically for special needs kids and adults.
We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization run by volunteers, and every piece of equipment we raise money for brings us one step closer to opening our doors.
