Northeast Arkansas Anglers Bass Club

Northeast Arkansas Anglers Bass Club We are a Team format Bass club based out of N.E. Arkansas that fishes primarily Northern Arkansas To southeast Arkansas. One of the best moves for our club.

We are a majority controlled club where the anglers that fished that tournament determine Where we fish the next tournament at. POSTED 2013 Northeast Arkansas Anglers members has roots that go back to the 20+ years of such bass clubs
as Northeast Arkansas bassmasters, Randolph County Bass Club, Arkansas Anglers and most
recently Osceola Anglers. This year we have reformated to include our anglers more in our
name and become a more angler controlled club. We fish from March to September with our classic in October.. Membership is $50 a team and entry is $55 a team per tournament. We have teams from all walks of life and some of us find it hard to be off on Saturdays, so we fish typically the forth Sunday of each month during the tournament year. We allow new members to join the morning of the tournament but don't get the idea that a jack potter can come in and win. We have some of the best tournament fishermen around and you will need to earn your win in this club.

2021 Northeast Arkansas Anglers has grown over the years. We started as a Sunday bass club but the times and the people explained we needed to move to Saturdays, so we did. Time has also showed that increases in membership and entries were needed. This made for more worthwhile payouts and more Anglers. NEAA is still one of the foremost clubs in Northeast Arkansas with 25 plus teams fishing each tournament. We always welcome competition which means we want you to fish with us. You will find some of the best people from the surrounding Jonesboro area in this bunch. Come on out and give us a try. Bet you like it. TD

Guys and Gals,
Just a little over a week till we will be fishing our Mini Classic. I have shared a photo that shows all the qualified teams. We will not be allowing any substitutions or new members for this tournament. Each boat must have fished two qualifying tournaments and the team must be one or both the team members as the membership is posted.
We will be fishing out of Dewight Mission Boat Ramp just off of 40. With a start time of 7:00am fishing till 3:00pm
We will be fishing for the Entries for this tournament and the memberships gathered throughout the year. We will pay Three places and Big Bass.
If you have any questions ask now, so that we may clear the air before we all get there.
See ya soon

I have been asked by a few of the teams, where to stay for our Dardanelle tournament. I have booked a couple nights with America’s Best Value Inn in Russellville. Reasonable rates and has typically been a decent stay, with boat parking very close and convenient. Booking through Expedia was a better rate than direct to the counter. Hope this helps.

Guys, I fished Poinsett Saturday. I was the last person to leave Saturday noonish. I found a tackle tray that I am pretty confident that belongs to one of the two kayakers I saw that morning. Once again everyone was gone. If you can tell me the contents, I will happily help you get it back. Tackle isn’t cheap and I am sure this person would like it back. Help me find the owner….

The regular season is in the books and Tulot did not disappoint. All teams weighed fish in and everyone managed to complete the tournament in record high temperatures. If you had told me it would take over 15 lbs to win there, you would have a had a good discussion on it. Darrel Speakes and his partner Greg Gordon had 15.5 lb sac with a 5.1 lb kicker to seal up 1st place and big bass. The solo team of Nicky Gates came in on a very respectable sac of 14.29lbs. 3rd was brought to the scales by Kevin Riney and Josh Terry with another 14 lbs sac at 14.16lbs.
After the weigh in the teams voted where to conduct the classic at in September. Dardanelle was chosen by a large majority. Then we were able to draw for vendor prize. Chad Powell and John Kellems were the lucky winners after all the place winners had been eliminated.. literally all three place winners were drawn before we drew someone out of the money 💰A big thanks to Northeast Arkansas overhead Garage door for the generous donation.
We would like to thank all of our 2026 sponsors for there generous support of our group.

Guys, It is going to be hot for our Tulot tournament. Be sure to come prepared. There is plenty of shade around this body of water, but you need to stay hydrated and aware of what your body is telling you. Just becoming moderately dehydrated will cause cramps and uncomfortable sleep that night. Becoming overly dehydrated has a whole list of issues no one wants to deal with.
Take care of your fish also, live well additives and moderate ice will help secure your catch. Remember we only allow 1 dead fish per team and that comes at a pound deduction.
See ya in a couple days,

Tournament weekend is just a few days away. Oak Donick(Tulot) on the St Francis will be the location. Date Saturday August 15th with a start time of 6:00am. We will need to get entries and launch before then. Due to limited space at the ramp we will start from the wide water straight out from the ramp. Weigh in at 2:00pm. Please check with the tournament director to get the parking scheme, there is adequate parking if we play it right.
This will be the last qualifying tournament for the 2026 season. There will be no new members accepted. You personally must have fished two tournaments to qualify for the classic. If you have a paid entry left from earlier this year, it will have to be used at this tournament or forfeited. If you have questions ask now, don’t assume.

We are quickly approaching your last qualifying tournament of the year. Tulot will be hosting our August 15th tournament. We will have a start time of 6:00 am fishing till 2:00pm. Parking can be a challenge there at times, be thoughtful about how we utilize the area. The participants will be responsible for voting in the location for the mini classic. Need to be thinking of what that looks like and be ready to vote on where that will be. Looking forward to seeing the crew once again and have a great time fishing the StFrancis lake area.
More to come later in the week.
