Big news for our NEA Soccer Club family.

After three incredible years, we’re proud to share that NEA Soccer Club is merging into Arkansas Forge FC.

What we’ve built together hasn’t been easy. There have been challenges along the way, but this group has shown up, put in the work, and grown in ways we couldn’t have imagined. The progress from our players, the commitment from our families, and the belief in what we’re building has been special to be a part of.

And now, it leads to this.

This move creates more opportunities, stronger competition, and a clearer path for development at every level.

Just as important, our players will continue to be supported by the same coaches and staff who have invested in them from the beginning. Every coach is part of this next step, and our players will receive the same level of attention they’ve come to expect, with even more resources behind them.

This isn’t starting over. It’s building on what you’ve already earned.

We’re excited about what’s ahead, and we want all of our players to be part of it.

🏆 GOLD IN MEMPHIS! 🏆

Yesterday, our 2013 Black Futsal team brought home the gold medal at the Memphis Futsal Invitational—and we couldn’t be more proud of this group of young men.

NEA Soccer Club may love grass and turf, but when it comes to futsal, this team has been as consistent as it gets. Year after year, they’ve stepped into a fast-paced, physical 5v5 environment and found ways to compete, adapt, and win.

These kids have grown up together. They’ve bonded like brothers… argued like brothers at times… but when they step on the court (or the field), they always have each other’s backs. That connection showed all weekend long.

A huge thank you to the older players who helped push this group, raise the standard, and show them what it takes to play at a gold-medal level. And an equally big thank you to the coaches who gave their time this weekend to make sure a lot of kids had the chance to play—because that’s what NEA Soccer Club is all about: kids and soccer first.

Congratulations to our 2013 Black Futsal boys on a hard-earned championship. Enjoy the moment—you’ve earned it. 🥇⚽

Important update for NEA Soccer Club families ⚽️

Starting with the 2026–27 season (August 2026), U.S. Soccer is moving from a calendar-year age cutoff to a school-year based system (August 1 – July 31). This change is meant to better align teams with school grade levels and peer groups.

What this means at NEA Soccer Club:

- We will not arbitrarily break up established older teams that have been playing together for several years.

- In some cases, players may be “playing up” based on birth month under the new system.

- Team placement decisions will be made intentionally, with the best interest of the players, team chemistry, and long-term development in mind.

- We will not split teams simply to match grade levels when it doesn’t make sense for the players or the club.

The 2025–26 season is unchanged, and we’ll communicate clearly and early as we get closer to implementation.
