There’s something really special about watching young girls learn that their bodies are not something to hate, shrink, compare or pick apart.
In a world full of filters, social media, comparison and impossible standards… I think it matters so much that they have a place where they can learn something different.
That food is fuel.
That eating is okay.
That strong is beautiful.
That movement should feel empowering, not like punishment.
That cardio is not the only answer.
That lifting, learning, resting, and taking care of your body matters.
I’m 40 years old and I still know how hard it can be to not compare yourself or be too hard on your own body… so I can only imagine what these girls are growing up seeing every single day.
My prayer is that they learn early what so many of us had to relearn later:
Your body is a gift.
It is capable.
It is strong.
It is worthy of being cared for, not criticized.
And if they can walk out of here with a little more confidence, a little more knowledge, and a little more respect for the body God gave them… then that matters more than anything.
Sure love these girls!
