Air Force, four as an Aircraft Armament Systems Specialist, and two as a Weapons Standardization Instructor. Rodney started his law enforcement career in 1996, as a Correctional Officer, with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. In 2002, he join
ed the Federal Air Marshal Service as a federal agent, where he provided counter-terrorist protection to commercial flights in the U.S. During his FAM service, Rodney received instruction from some of the country's best law enforcement and special ops instructors and became an expert marksman. In 2008, Rodney began working with the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles as a parole officer. He was also a member of the Atlanta Community Impact Program Task Force, a joint task force that focused on the supervision and apprehension of parole and probation offenders in Metro Atlanta. In 2015, Rodney began working for the Georgia Department of Community Supervision, where he is currently the DCS Training Academy’s Supervisor of Advanced & Specialized Training. Rodney provides specialized instruction in fi****ms, arrest team tactics, defensive tactics, and situational awareness; as well as general instructor certification. Rodney has hundreds of hours of specialized training ranging from Fi****ms to First Responder training. Rodney bases his training on Mark 14:37-38(a) “37 And he came and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, “Simon, are you asleep? Could you not watch one hour? 38 Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation.” His motto is you never know when trouble is coming, so Watch & Pray.
