I just realized I never posted this on here! Dominican university softball camps! $75 each session. Be trained by a team that has won 101 games the past 3 seasons! If you are interested in next weekend camp, please e-mail me at [email protected] by Sunday night! We are struggling with so many tournaments going on so are trying to decide if we will run it or cancel it!! It would be low numbers so a lot of good training and if you have a high schooler it includes a tour of the school and Q&A with players and coaches!!!!

He’s back.
Are you looking for a college coach to help your daughters softball skills and mental skills? After a 31-12 season and a .344 team batting average with his college team, Coach Shawn is back in Will County giving lessons. I can help with hitting, catching and defense.

Talk about the mental game - how many coaches have over 14 years teaching either undergraduate or graduate college psychology? With a masters degree in counseling, I actually specialize in the mental part of the game. And when it comes to a comeback, I know how good it feels to get back in the game after being sidelined. I had a serious health scare in 2024, and taking time off was frustrating, but now I know what it’s like to come back even stronger and get back to doing what I love.

I can also help answer all recruiting questions since I do it on a daily basis. So if you’re looking for a new voice for your daughter, please feel free to text at 815-546-1387. I am going to keep the lesson list small to make sure I can give specialized attention to everyone I see.

This is a hard post, but NOT a sad post. After 8 1/2 years of owning Hard Work Gets Me Hits! It is time that I make some changes. With getting back into college coaching again, and loving it, I was not at the facility as much as I used to be. So I have made the decision to sell HWGMH!! This is actually a good thing. Greg Blaesing will take over as owner! I was very impressed with his vision and plans for the facilriy. I truly believe he can take it to the next level. And the best part is he is keeping myself and all of the trainers on staff giving lessons!
What does this mean to you? Some changes for the better! I am confident that Greg will take the facility and make it even better than it is. All of the trainers will still be available to your kids! And it will be at the same location! You may see some improvements coming soon, but they will be to better the facility. To everyone reading this, stop by and get to meet Greg!

I did want to take a minute to thank EVERYONE that has been part of the journey. I would not have made it 8 1/2 years without all of you. To all of our past and present lessons, thank you for believing in what I truly believe is the best training staff in the state. Thank you for believing in me and my vision and I hope you continue to support HWGMH!

Thank you Greg for allowing me to stay on and see where you take this! I will be your biggest supporter!!!!

The 5 day clinics were not as popular as usual. I figured I would see if more people would be interested in 1 day clinics? If so please respond with baseball or softball and then hitting, catching or both. Also if you are interested would you prefer a 1 hour, 2 hour, 3 hour or 4 hour one day clinic?? Thank you for your response, and please ha w your friends give their opinions too!
