Join us for a guided hike in the woods on our Storybook Trail! We will read a story to you as you walk along the trail and then come back to the Nature Center to make a fun craft. The stories and crafts will be related to the current season. The storybook trail is natural and unpaved.

Our Ice Explorers class gives 2.5-4 year old skaters the VIP experience at the ice arena. Skaters will take tours of the building, see the Zamboni, learn about the different parts of ice skates, and eventually work their way onto the ice and start skating.

Grab a mystery scarecrow making kit and create a fun scarecrow at home! We will provide the stake, clothes, head, twine, and accessories. You provide the stuffing and creativity! Pick up your mystery kits on September 27th during our business hours (9a to 3p). After you build your scarecrows at home, send us a picture via email [email protected] or through Facebook messenger (Pilcher Park Nature Center) and we will post them on our page.
