Another very successful regional competition in the books for Superstarz Gymnastics! 12 of our athletes qualified for the Illinois Summer Games, multiple all-around gold medalists, tons of smiles, positive progress, team work, and exceptional growth for everyone. We are so proud of our team! ⭐️💚

✨ Travel expenses for our volunteer coaching staff to attend the Summer Games!

Our gymnasts work incredibly hard and show up with determination and heart every single week. This fundraiser helps make sure cost is never a barrier to our team's participation in Special Olympics events- and ensures that our coaches are able to be right alongside our athletes keeping them safe, providing 1:1 support, encouraging them, and celebrating their success!

Mia is energetic, fun, and always ready to take on a new challenge with a smile on her face! Mia has been excelling at Level 3 this season, even creating her own optional routines that are looking AMAZING! She is strong, hard working, and brightens every practice. We can’t wait to see her shine this season! 💪💫

We are switching up this week’s athlete spotlight, and instead shining the spotlight bright on Coach Rois — one of the heart and souls of Superstarz! 💖

Rois has been volunteering with us for over 6 years and in that time she’s become so much more than a coach — she is family! She’s helped shape our program into what it is today, mentoring coaches, choreographing routines, motivating athletes, and developing plans that bring out the best in everyone.

She’s also the ultimate organizer, who somehow makes it possible to be in 2 places at once, always remembers what to pack, and keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Rois truly encompasses what it means to be a Superstar. We’re beyond lucky to have her leading, laughing, and inspiring right alongside us every week! ❤️
