SATURDAY UPDATE:

The golf course will open at Noon today with several restrictions. They are as follows:

Hole 4 will be played as a par 3 from 125 yards. This was our hardest hit hole and the tee boxes and parts of fairway are unplayable until more clean up

Hole 7 will be played from the senior tees

Cart path on Hole 8 is closed. Please drive down the hill on #3 and up past #9 tee box to access the green

Please keep carts away from debris

Most importantly- PLEASE BE AWARE OF WORKERS ON THE COURSE. We will have a tree service on site for the next several days helping get cleaned up. Please be respectful of them.

These modifications have been put in place to allow people to golf. Please understand there is still lots of work to do and the golf course still has substantial debris. We have managed to clear off all fairways, greens and most tees to make it playable.

As clean up proceeds and these restrictions can be lifted, we will do so accordingly.

The special “Storm Rate” will be $20 for 9 holes with a cart. We have power back so all methods of payment will be accepted.

The damage from last nights storm was severe. In addition to still not having power, the amount of large trees and debris on the course is overwhelming.

We are trying our best to get help, but a lot of the major companies are obviously focused on clearing roadways and restoring power to homes.

This damage is simply too much for our small grounds crew to handle, so we will wait for some help to arrive. The golf course will remain closed until then. Unfortunately there is no timeframe at this point, but as soon as we can get things somewhat playable we will open up.

Unfortunately the golf course has sustained significant damage after last nights storms. At this point we will be closed until further notice.

An update will be provided here when we are able to reopen.

It is with great sadness that we announce that the 2026 City Championship has been cancelled.

Sign up’s are low for this year’s event and there are a few other outside factors that all played a part in this decision. It is regrettable, but we will not allow the event to be used for reasons other than golf.

When we took over operations of Berkley Hills in 2015, bringing “The City” back was one of our main objectives. I’m proud to say we brought it back for 11 more years. To everyone who played and supported the event, we can’t thank you enough!

We feel the need to address an absolutely crazy rumor that has been going around the last several days.

The restroom facilities in the golf shop are working and have always been working. There is a crazy and hard to believe rumor being spread that customers are being asked to go the bathroom on the outside of the pro shop or cart barn. While we can’t believe we even need to make this statement, please know that these rumors are completely and utterly false.

We will continue to focus on what matters- providing a public golf facility that is in good condition and has prices that are the most affordable in the area.
