Johnstown Firefighters Memorial Park – May 9th, 2021
The Johnstown Firefighters, IAFF Local 463, would like to unveil the conceptual drawings for the Johnstown Firefighters Memorial Park located at the intersection of Vine and Franklin Streets in the Downtown section of the city. With the help of UpStreet Architects and HF Lenz Engineering firm, below is the conceptual drawing for the park. Using local vendors and contractors we will begin as soon as possible to convert this green space into a long-lasting memorial honoring the city firefighters who gave their lives in the line of duty. We are kicking off our fundraising campaign to raise approximately $100,000. Over the next few weeks, we will be hosting online fundraisers, selling tickets, reaching out to donors, and hosting some other fundraising events.
