The Johnstown Concert Ballet is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3), Educational Organization providing dance training and performances to Johnstown and surrounding communities. In addition to traditional ballet classes we also perform the only local professional production of The Nutcracker every year in December and also perform a different classical ballet piece every spring. We have also launched JCB Dance

Works: an undertaking to expand programming to include all dance genres, for dancers of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.

This summer is the perfect time to explore something new! In addition to our ballet classes, we've added conditioning, tap, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary to the schedule, giving dancers the opportunity to build strength, expand their skills, and discover new styles in a fun, low-commitment environment.

DanceWorks is open, and our search for incredible movement leaders is officially underway! While classical ballet remains the incredible foundation of what we do, we are ready to expand our horizons. We are looking for full-season instructors to introduce other dynamic dance styles, alongside passionate community instructors to spearhead our group fitness classes, making DanceWorks a vibrant hub for everyone. We offer opportunities for year-round instruction, weekly classes, specialized workshops/masterclasses, and substitute positions.
