HUGE congratulations to Ainsley Russell for taking home the win🥇 in the Varsity Open Championship at the 2026 IEA National Hunt Seat Finals!

Only the top 12 varsity open riders (one from each zone) are invited to compete in the Varsity Open Championship. Ainsley qualified as the highest point-earner in Zone 5 throughout the entire year! The class consists of two phases: flat and fences with the top two riders called back to test.

🏆 Taking home top honors makes Ainsley the #1 Varsity Open Rider overall in the Nation!

We are so incredibly proud of Ainsley for her hard work and dedication to this sport. This win is so well-deserved 🤩
