Your hips can impact vour swing direction quite a bit. Tilting them properly can help you really drive the ball. If you're struggling with swing path, have a look at what vour hips are doinq!

If you're the parent of a young hitter or work with young hitters you know how challenging it can be to get them to listen. Stop telling them to get their hands up or keep their elbow high or whatever other issues you might be seeing. Most of them just don't understand what its like to actually be ready to hit.

Having them do the command drill often times cleans up most of those issues.

Summer Transformation Program is quickly approaching! Only 3 spots remain.

Here are a quick few details...
Start date: June 1st
Frequency: 3 x week for 9 weeks
When: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday

Right now I'm offering a noon to 1:30pm session and a 5pm to 6:30pm session (might be adding a 9am session as well!)

These are all small group sessions capped at 5 per group. Each day will consist of hitting/throwing/defensive work in addition to strength and speed to develop as much as possible over the 9 weeks.

Check the flight of the ball off the tee. It can tell you a lot about your swing. Goal is to backspin balls to the back of the cage. If you're having top spin or too much side spin then you can start making little adjustments.

Using smush balls shows you the spin even more so thats a great tool to use on your swing.

Take your game to the next level with our 2nd Annual Summer Transformation Program, built for serious youth, high school, and college players looking for real results.

This is an all inclusive training program where athletes receive expert coaching, personalized development, nutrition support, and the guidance to improve speed, strength, hitting, throwing, and overall on-field performance.

If you want your ball player to hit the ball harder, increase throwing velo and become more athletic this program is for you.

Whats included:
Each athlete receives a complete training plan designed to help them improve all Summer long.
- Full movement, speed, and strength assessment.
- Personalized strength program focused on speed, mobility, and arm care.
- Small group hitting sessions with daily progressions.
- Video swing analysis and feedback
- Supervised Throwing sessions
- Nutrition guidance
- Defensive skill work with access to our Hack Attack for position specific drills.

Last summer yielded amazing results which included:

- average throwing velo increase of 3 mph with two athletes gaining 8mph!
- average exit velo increase of 5mph
- average sprint time drop of 0.3 seconds in the 10 yard, 30 yard and 60 yard dashes.

The program will begin June 1st and will run for 9 weeks. I'm aware many athletes are playing travel ball so the plan is to work around the tournament schedules.

If you're struggling to stay back and are hitting a lot of balls off of your front foot in games, this can be a great drill for you. Practicing super deep tee like this can teach you how to launch off of your back side and stay through the ball.

The machine is shooting about 30mph from about 5 feet. You can't size up the pitch then load and swing. You have to load first, launch your swing, then adjust to the pitch location.

This is a great drill to reduce ball anxiety and stop pushing your bat through the zone.

You should be using your posture to help you hit different pitch heights, not your arms. But how do you do that? We have to learn how to use out rear hip and not just bend over. Check it out.
