We are already looking ahead to wrestling season, and our first sponsors of the season have once again stepped up in a BIG way! 🤼‍♂️

For the third year in a row, we are incredibly proud and grateful to recognize the Biron/Holmes Memorial Scholarship as our FIRST sponsors of the season! Their continued support has become such a meaningful part of Johnstown Youth Wrestling, and we can’t thank them enough for believing in our program and our athletes year after year.

The founders of the scholarship generously support our program in honor of former Johnstown wrestler and captain Zach Biron and former Johnstown athlete Zack Holmes.

A very special thank you to Bonnie Brown Holmes, Ryan Ahrens, and Andrew Wilson for their continued generosity and commitment to Johnstown student-athletes. This is their third year sponsoring Johnstown Youth Wrestling, and they continue to support many other Johnstown sports as well.

🏆 Fonda/Johnstown Youth Wrestling Needs Volunteer Coaches for the 2026–2027 Season! 🏆

As we look ahead to another exciting season, we're looking to grow our coaching staff and would love to have you join our team!

With Coach Benton and Coach Knopp focusing more of their time on the varsity programs, and several of our longtime youth coaches seeing their wrestlers age out of the program, we have coaching opportunities available for the 2026–2027 season.

Our goal is simple: more coaches means fewer kids per coach, allowing every wrestler to receive more individual attention, better instruction, and a more positive experience on the mat.

You don't have to be a wrestling expert to make a difference.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to the coaches who have already committed to returning this season. Your dedication to our youth program is greatly appreciated, and we're excited to have you back!

Warren students continue to make us proud!

Last week, our students brought home some impressive honors. For the second year in a row, a Johnstown wrestler earned the 3rd Grade Iron Man Award, with this year’s recognition going to Oliver Oare—an outstanding accomplishment!

We’re also thrilled to celebrate Adalyn Machnica, who brought home the prestigious Triple C Award. Her hard work, character, and dedication are a wonderful reflection of our school community.

Congratulations to Oliver, Adalyn, and all of our amazing students for their achievements. We’d love to celebrate even more successes—please share your student’s awards and accomplishments in the comments below! 🎉🏆👏
