🏈 Here are some upcoming Shamrock Football Community Service Opportunities 🏈

If you’re looking for volunteer hours, we have two great opportunities for high school students on Saturday, June 27th!

✅ Punt, Pass & Kick Contest
📍 Sandy Beach Park, Ridgway
🕛 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM (set up at 11:00 AM)
Help run the football activities during the Elk County Commissioners Family Fun Event celebrating America's 250th Anniversary.

✅ Casino Hole – Johnsonburg/Wilcox Alumni Golf Scramble
📍 Bavarian Hills Golf Course, St. Marys
🕗 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Assist with our fundraising casino hole and interact with golfers throughout the day.

Adults will be present at both events to organize and assist teens, so anyone is welcome! You don’t need football or golf experience to help. Both opportunities support Shamrock Football fundraising efforts and can count toward community service hours.

The 2026 Shamrock Football season is right around the corner! Be sure to save these important dates:

📍Sandy Beach Park, Ridgway
Punt/Pass/Kick Event - June 27th 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Join us for Elk County’s celebration of America’s 250th anniversary!

📍 Johnsonburg Borough Building
• Coaches Meeting – July 14, 5:30 PM
• Parent Meeting – July 14, 6:00 PM

📍 Shamrock Practice Field
• Heat Acclimation Camp (Helmets Only) – July 27-31, 6:00-8:00 PM
• Physicals Due – July 31 (must be submitted before first practice)
• Mandatory Practice (Full Pads) – start August 3

🏈 Tentative Scrimmage
• August 15
• Location & Time TBD

🏈 First Official Game
• August 22 @ AC Valley

🏈 That’s a wrap on the Shamrock Preseason Skills Camp! 🍀

Thank you to all of the players who came out to work hard, learn new skills, and get ready for the season. We also want to thank our coaches, alumni, volunteers, and families who helped make camp a success!

If you haven’t registered for the 2026 season yet, there’s still time! Registration forms can be turned in at our Parent Meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, July 14 at 5:30 PM at the Johnsonburg Borough Building.

What a GREAT first night of Shamrock Football Skills Camp! ☘️🏈

We had 30 young athletes on the field working hard, learning new skills, and having a blast. A huge thank you to our 8 Shamrock alumni (Rocco, Xavier, Logan, Levi, Marcus, Luca, Vinny and Leland) who came back to help coach and inspire the next generation of players. Your support means so much to our program!

The energy, effort, and enthusiasm were outstanding, and this is just the beginning.

Missed night one? No worries! Join us for Night 2 this Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 and come see what Shamrock Football is all about. We can't wait to get back on the field! We’ll have pizza for the kids to celebrate a fun and successful week of skills camp! 🍕

And if you had SO MUCH fun at camp, let us know! Registration for the season is still open and forms are available at camp!

🏈 The 2026 Shamrock Football schedule is here! 🏈

This season marks an exciting new chapter for the Shamrocks in a new league. The ABC League offers more opportunities for player growth and development, along with stronger competition and more teams throughout the season. With clear and fair expectations from the league, the teams can focus on skill building and their love for the game!

With expanded league play and new matchups ahead, this move will help the Shamrocks build a more advanced football program for our athletes — both on and off the field.

We’re excited for the future of Shamrock Football and can’t wait to see our players compete, improve, and represent our communities this fall. Thank you to everyone who has supported this transition with us! Change is scary, but the Shamrock family is built for the future! Stay tuned for information about transportation options, new uniforms, camps and practices!
