We wrapped up our January Stay Engaged Bingo Challenge at Harvest Fitness, and it was a blast seeing our members stay active and committed — even outside of normal class time!
This challenge was designed to encourage simple, consistent movement during a busy time of year. Members worked to complete squares filled with activities like mobility work, outdoor movement, hydration goals, recovery work, and quick fitness tasks that support long-term health and performance. The goal wasn’t perfection… it was consistency and building habits that last.
We had several members complete Bingo lines and earn multiple entries, and we’re proud of everyone who participated and stayed disciplined throughout the challenge.
🎉 Congratulations to our challenge winner, Clint Floyd, who was drawn to receive a $50 gift certificate to the business of his choice!
At Harvest Fitness, we believe fitness happens both inside AND outside the gym. Challenges like this help build sustainable habits, accountability, and community support — which is what truly creates long-term success.
If you’ve been thinking about getting started or getting back into a routine, this is exactly the kind of supportive environment we love building. We’d love to have you join us.

This is exactly why coaching matters.

Training isn’t one-size-fits-all.
It’s adjustments, context, and knowing when to push — and when to pull back.

If you want a gym that meets you where you are and helps you move forward, we’d love to have you.

Muscle isn’t a trend.
It’s earned — rep by rep, day by day.

No shortcuts. No filters. No quick fixes.
Just patience, practice, and showing up even when it’s not glamorous.

This is why we lift. 💪

Some mornings just hit different.
This was the view outside the gym this morning — quiet streets, lights still on, and a sky that looked like it knew something special was about to happen.

Moments like this are a good reminder: showing up early, putting in the work, and starting the day with intention is always worth it. Grateful for this place, our gym community, and mornings that stop you in your tracks for a second before the grind begins. 🌅💪

Tonight felt unreal.

There’s something surreal about watching people you coach — tired from the day, hands on barbells — framed beneath a sky that looks nothing short of magical. It’s the kind of moment you never expect to experience, especially in Southwest Kansas.

Strength meets wonder.
Hard work meets magic.
Harvest Fitness under the aurora glow.

These pictures capture what we see in the gym every day:
ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

No filters.
No edits.
Just a barbell, a sky full of fire, and a community that keeps showing up. 🔥💪📷

🇺🇸 Veterans Day 🇺🇸

Today we honor the men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country. Their courage, discipline, and selflessness are qualities we can all strive to reflect — not just in the gym, but in everyday life.

So today, we pause.
We reflect.
And we say thank you — to every veteran who has stood for something bigger than themselves.

Your strength reminds us that freedom is never free, and that true resilience doesn’t quit when it gets hard. 💪🇺🇸

🔥 Shoutout to Our 8-Week Chad Prep Warriors! 🔥

Over the last eight weeks, a dedicated group of Harvest Fitness members showed up — week after week — for some of the most monotonous, grueling, mentally tough training we’ve ever programmed.

We’re talking 300–750 box step-ups at a time, plus loaded sandbag carries, drags, rucks, and strength work designed to build not just legs… but grit.

This wasn’t glamorous training.
It wasn’t fast.
It wasn’t “fun.”
But it meant something.

Why?
Because we’ve been preparing for Chad 1000X — a hero workout honoring Navy SEAL Chad Wilkinson, who died by su***de in 2018. Every year, thousands of people complete this workout to raise awareness for veteran mental health and su***de prevention.

And this year, several Harvest Fitness athletes committed to an 8-week prep cycle to train safely, build capacity, and honor Chad with intention — not impulse.

A huge shoutout to those who attended all eight weeks of prep. Your consistency, discipline, and willingness to show up even when training got repetitive or mentally heavy is something to be proud of. 🔥

Perfect Attendance Crew:
✅ Barbara Morris
✅ Clint Floyd
✅ Facunda Rivas
✅ John Morrison
✅ Karina Martinez
✅ Marta Solis
✅ Myles Shirk

This group didn’t just train — they showed up for a purpose.

Your hard work honors Chad, supports our veteran community, and represents what Harvest Fitness is all about: resilience, integrity, and community strength.

is coming up soon… and this group is READY. 💪🇺🇸

👀🗣Parents of young athletes⤵️

A study by Jayanthi et al. (2015), published in The American Journal of Sports Medicine, examined 1,214 injured athletes between the ages of 7 and 18.

These athletes, recruited from two hospital-based sports medicine clinics, were compared with healthy peers from primary care clinics during routine sports physicals. Participants completed surveys reporting how many hours per week they spent in organized sports.

The results? Young athletes who train more hours per week than their age in years are at increased risk of serious overuse injuries.

What does that mean? 10 years old? Stay under 10 hours/week.

Youth athletic development isn’t about doing more. It’s about finding a balance between training, school, recovery and nutrition to support healthy growth and maximize performance.

🌟 A New Addition to Main Street 🌟

You may have noticed the new benches on Main Street. These benches were purchased by the members of Harvest Fitness as a memorial to our gym family members Addy and Joe Pantoja, in honor of their son, Matthew, who tragically passed away in 2020.

This memorial is a way for us to honor Matthew’s life, while also showing support and love for Addy and Joe. It stands as a reminder of how strong and caring this community is.

We would also like to extend a very special thank you to B’loved Creations by Brooke Jones for generously donating her services to engrave the plaques on the benches. Your kindness and craftsmanship have made this memorial even more meaningful.

❤️5 years at home in Heaven, but loved beyond measure here on Earth❤️

🇺🇸 This morning I happened to snap this picture of member Steph during her run and when I looked at it, the American flag was perfectly framed. No editing, no filters, just a powerful moment.

Today, on 9/11, it feels especially meaningful. A reminder of resilience, strength, and unity. We run, we lift, we push ourselves not only for our own growth, but also to honor those who gave everything on this day 24 years ago.

Let’s never forget. ❤️🤍💙

💦 Dedication to the gym looks different each day! 💪Sometimes it’s hitting a PR, sometimes it’s showing up when you’re tired… and sometimes it’s sprinting through flooded Main Street just to make it back to the car after class. 😂No matter the conditions — rain, shine, or a few unexpected “extra obstacles” — this crew shows up and makes it happen. That’s what makes Harvest Fitness more than a gym. It’s grit, laughter, and a little bit of crazy all rolled together.Who else would run through a flood after bench press? Only our people. 🙌
