So late last year while getting ready for the fishing shows this year I ran into a bad batch of the topcoat I was using at the time. I have since switched to another one. I thought I had gotten all the problem baits redone/fixed. Obviously I missed some in the close to 1000 baits I had done in that time frame. If you bought a bait that is having issues with the paint peeling please contact me so I can either fix the issue or replace the bait entirely. Hook rash, chips from hitting a rock, etc are gonna happen to any bait BUT this type of failure is not up to the standard I hold myself to. To keep the "scams" to a minimum I HAVE to have the problem bait. I apologize to anyone that has had issues and will do my best to make it right.

Actually had a day off work that the weather cooperated. This beauty was the only one worth bragging about BUT a 6.1lber caught on a lure I painted is a great feeling. Blue Ghost Cheator ticking the grass.

I'm not real good at this social media thing so these are a little late (like weeks 🤣). Here are some good fish caught by Todd Lewis using a Spook Boyo and Sexy Dawg in Frozen Shad. He has probably caught 100 or more since these pics. Love to get pics of fish caught with our baits.

Quick PSA……….VanHuss Custom Lures will be closed starting NOW till 4/27. We are taking a week of mental health, fishing, product testing, and some down time with my best buddy. Back in 10 days. 🤘🏻
