Chapel Hill GC remains closed for the 2026 season until weather and ground conditions improve and stabilize.
Additional updates will be sent via email and appear on our page.

We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back for a great 2026 season!

News You Can Use:
We've been working hard during the off-season to make improvements to the golf course. Recently we added fresh sand to all of the sand traps and refreshed the gravel on all the cart paths.

As the weather improves we will also be regrading and seeding many areas on the golf course that were damaged by the drought conditions over the last couple of years.

We are hoping these improvements will enhance the playing experience at Chapel Hill Golf Course.

Chapel Hill is hiring for the following positions:

Maintenance Supervisor/Laborer - Must have relevant golf course experience. Weekend morning availability is required for this position. $17 per hour when meeting position requirements.

Maintenance Laborer - Full-Time and Part-Time positions available. Must have weekend availability. Experience preferred. Starts at $14+ depending on experience and availability.

Chapel Hill GC will tentatively open for the season on Monday, April 8th, 2024!

The recent snow and periods of heavy rain combined with the colder temperatures have created very wet and unplayable conditions at Chapel Hill GC. Therefore, opening day has been postponed until Monday, 4/8.
