Today is Tithing Tuesday, 4pm-10pm! Come out to UPH and Hairy Guys. Support the Jim Thorpers raising money for fallen first responders and local children’s charities.

We will begin selling tickets for a “Yeti Summer Fun” Cooler. See pics below for a description of the cooler and a sampling of what it is loaded with! Come to UPH/Hairy Guys to see it and take a chance!

From the Captains:

FBBCF will again be displaying the wall of heroes at the finish line of the B2S. Since this tradition began, we have been fortunate enough to have several business and organizations step up to sponsor the banners for Corporal Bryon Dickson, Trooper Joshua Miller, Firefighter Marvin Gruber and Firefighter Zachary Paris.

Thank you to The Morrow Wargo Group who will sponsor Corporal Dickson and Trooper Miller again this year.

We are still looking for sponsors for Firefighters Marvin Gruber and Zachary Paris to ensure these heroes will be remembered on July 21st. The cost is $300. Please reach out as soon as possible if interested.

From the Co-Captains:
Today we met with JTPD Chief Schatz and made a donation of behalf of the Jim Thorpers Bicycle Team to assist his department in up-fitting their new E-bikes. Many of our team members regularly ride the trail through the Borough and this will allow the department to assist cyclist in the case of emergencies and to patrol the trail The E-Bikes will also allow officers maneuver through the downtown when it congested with traffic and tourists.
