Griswold Youth Wrestling Club Respect is such a big part of this sport.Respect for your coaches,teammates and your opponents. Your participation is required.

By becoming a GYW wrestler you respresent this team whether you are on the mat,at practice,school or home. The GYW Club is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization composed of volunteers dedicated to this mission. In fact, nearly everyone you encounter in this sport is unpaid and gives their time and talent simply because they love the sport and how it enriches the kids who participate. Throughout the

season we will call for parent volunteers to assist us in fundraising, at practice, or helping to run tournamnets. Your patience, commitment and support of the GYW Club are greatly appreciated. Together we can continue to grow our club and make this season a huge success. The GYW Club is guided by a Board of Directors that governs the program and th coaching in general. GYW Club is part of a very large organization, USA Wrestling. USA Wrestling sanctions and oversees wrestling for youth across the entire United States. There are over 25,000 wrestlers, 3,500 coaches and 850 clubs across the United States. It is our mission to expand and develop the wrestling skills of each individual in a positive envviroment. Wrestling is a tough and demanding sport that can offer a great feeling of accomplishment to the kids involved.
