And just like that it’s over. Good weather, bad weather and great weather all in one week. Thankful for the landowners who allow us on their land, our team that doesn’t quit and the good lord above for allowing us to do what we love!

Duck season 2025 (plus the first 4 days of 2026) was something. From a good start, to a slow week and some change, to the best month stretch we’ve ever had… all we can say is thank you. Thank you to our clients, farmers/landowners, lodge staff and our crew who make all of this possible!

Turkey season 2025 was one word… epic.

Thank you to our farmers and the good lord above for allowing us to do what we do. Thank you to our clients for trusting us to provide you the best hunt. We’re already looking forward to next spring. But until then… it’s time for duck season!

And just like that duck season is over. The last week was good, but the ice made the ducks congregate which made the hunting pressure do the same and it caught up with the ducks towards the end. We powered through and stayed in front of them for the most part.

Thank you to our clients who trust us to provide them hunts of a lifetime, our farmers who allow us to access their land to be able to do what we do and to all of our guides, scouts and staff that make the wheels go round!

Time to shoot a few geese then get ready for turkey season!

Northern Wings Gun Club and Mark Adams with the afternoon upland hunts is always something to be added to the to do list while hunting with us!

If you’re wanting to just solely upland hunt during our off season (February and March) reach out to Mark @ (804)-514-7418 to set up your hunt! Lodging and meals can be provided or drive in daily hunts!

From October until now, we’ve stayed in front of them as best as you can with the weather we were dealt this season. The year 2024 back last January started funny for ducks and it carried over to October on I guess. Hot one day, cold the next, no wind, rain, fog, etc… but we kept our heads down and stayed in front of them.

Limited to the amount we can post at once, if your picture isn’t there we apologize.

2025 has started off right and we are ready for a 2 week break then to end this season the way we started! Thank you to our crew, our amazing farmers, our lodge staff and anyone else involved to make all of this possible!

Our first cold front of the year is coming and we’re getting ready to start rolling for the 2024 season! That being said, we have some dates open for our second lodge and some early season and goose only dates left!

Main lodge dates:
- Arrive October 29, hunt the 30/31/1 - 4 hunter minimum, 8 hunter max
- Arrive November 20, hunt the 21/22/23 - 6 hunter minimum, 8 hunter max
- Arrive February 11, hunt the 12/13/14 (goose only) - 6 hunter minimum, 12 hunter max

Second lodge dates:
- Arrive December 17, hunt the 18/19/20 - 4 hunter minimum, 8 hunter max
- Arrive December 20, hunt the 21/22/23 - 4 hunter minimum, 8 hunter max
- Arrive January 17, hunt 18/19/20 - 4 hunter minimum, 8 hunter max

Both options for lodging include; lodging, meals and bird processing.

Afternoon pheasant hunts available as well.

With some changes to the schedule and a few new opportunities presenting themselves… we have some dates that have come available for this upcoming season! From October all the way until the end of dark goose season (mid February) we have some open slots scattered around!

October/November: expect early season mallards, wigeon, pintail, teal, etc… this timeframe is great to get out and hunt before most seasons start and are some of our favorite/most consistent hunting of the year!

December/January: expect primarily mallards with some geese mixed in here and there. Some years are super cold, some are not but we primarily shoot mallards during this timeframe.

February: goose hunting only. Lessers, honkers, specks and snows. If late season goose hunting on the reverse migration after all other seasons are pretty much over is on your bucket list, this is for you. We only have room for 2 more groups during this since they added a week to our late season!

We typically are booked up this far into the year but with adding a week to our goose season and additions to our lodging we have some last minute deals still available!

All hunts include lodging and meals as well as bird processing. Afternoon pheasant hunts are available as well.
