Saying goodbye to the ones we love is never easy. And this is definitely one of the hardest goodbyes I've ever had to say. It is with the heaviest of hearts that we say goodbye to one of our beloved brothers. For any of you that knew Master Buboy you knew that he loved teaching. He loved the art of his motherland, eskrima. When he stepped up to teach you knew you weren't going home for the next 2-3 hours because he would never stop teaching until his amazing wife called him to come home 😂. Buboy was a wealth of knowledge and talent. He made it his mission to share that knowledge with everyone. He really loved being an eskrimador. The only things he loved more than eskrima were his lovely wife, his beautiful children, and his amazing grandchild. He talked so much about his family. They meant everything to him. Master Buboy left behind so many fond memories and valuable lessons. It's safe to say that his legacy will live on through time. This eskrimador will live on in our hearts and minds. Which makes sense when you think about how we end every class... Mabuhay Eskrimadors!!! You will be missed brother, but you're forever in our hearts, in all our victories, in every toast, in all our future endeavors. We love Master Buboy.

Through martial arts, kids learn more than kicks and punches. They develop discipline, respect, and the confidence to lead by example. Every class teaches them how to stay focused, support their peers, and rise after challenges—skills that shape strong leaders both on and off the mat.

When kids train their minds and bodies together, they build the courage to take initiative and the humility to keep growing. That’s real leadership.

Another amazing tournament run for PIMA Academy. We competed in the USA National Tournament in Las Vegas. We scored 5 Gold 4 silver medals. Mabuhay Eskrimadors
