Last night I raced my truck at Magic Valley Speedway! We unfortunately found out my truck is still having issues however I managed to stay out for both races! I did however get rear-ended due to my truck struggling to pick up speed, but there is hardly any body damage!🙌 I had a wonderful time watching my parents race and I’m excited to race with them on June 20th! Last night was the season opener for Magic Valley Speedway! I raced in the pro trucks and I had the absolute best time watching both my mom and dad race in the hornets! I’m still figuring out the truck and I’m slowly learning more and more everytime I go out! My shifter ended up breaking last night so we made a quick fix and decided to go back out. Thank you so incredibly much to The Beach Tanning Co and Fast Lane Automotive for helping me have this amazing opportunity! Also a huge thank you to my boyfriend for taking pictures and videos of me! Last Saturday I raced in the hornets and pro trucks. I ended up placing 5th in the hornet race and had a great time. My truck is still having issues however we’re getting closer to figuring out what is actually wrong with it. I have one more race left this season. Last Saturday I raced in the hornets. I had an amazing time during the race and ended up doing pretty good but I did something that I loved doing more the racing. I decided to help raise awareness and money for a young sweet girl named Brook Devers who is in need of a kindey transplant. I want to give a huge thank you to everyone who helped and donated, shared her story, or even tried to see if they would be a match to be her donor. All of it helps more than you know. I will continue to raise awareness and money for this poor girl who deserves a better shot at life! I will be racing on the 16th of august and I hope to see you all there! Last night was officially my first race of the season. I unfortunately wasn’t able to race on the 3rd of May since I was getting over being super sick. Last night I raced in the hornets and trucks. I ended up having problems with my truck since we rebuilt it completely, new parts tend to do that however we’re working out the kinks still. I raced in the hornets as well but pulled off since my car didn’t feel right and I didn’t want to go hit or cause an accident. I want to give a huge thank you to my dad, this entire weekend wouldn’t have been possible without him and I’m so lucky to have him coaching me the whole way. I also want to give a huge thank you to Zach Rydalch for putting in so much work with my dad to get this truck done! I’ll be back out next weekend to give it another shot in my hornet aka Rex! It’s coming together…slowly. My first race is May 3rd and I can’t wait for this season! I will be racing pro trucks and hornets this year! Thank you so much to Zack Rydalch, Justin Ford, and of course my wonderful father! We still have a lot to finish on the truck but we’re hoping to have it done by May 3rd! Yesterday did not go as we had planned. 20 laps in to practice the left front shock shaft broke. We did not have any back up shocks with us so it look like our race weekend was done. With the help of some amazing people we found the parts needed to get the car back together. This morning we were able to get the car back together and on the scales and it should be ready to make some laps today. I want to thank Matt Erickson and Rick Erickson for all there help as well as Will Martin for loaning us a set of shock and Loren K***z for the pieces to put everything together. I feel very blessed for all the help and support we received last night. We will try to keep everyone posted on our progress today. As always a very special thanks to Fast Lane Automotive, The Beach Tanning company, Oxygen Health Spa and for this weekend Razzari Auto center and Stonefieldhome.co. for there support as well.
